Artist Biography

He began playing guitar at the age of 16. After graduating from high school, he enrolled in a music vocational school, where he was deeply influenced by fusion and jazz.

Around the age of 24, he launched his professional career. Specializing in acoustic guitar accompaniment for vocals, he blends a variety of styles—pop, rock, blues, jazz, and R&B—and performs at restaurants, cafés, weddings, and other venues.

As his career progressed, he expanded his reach to include performances at hotels, bars, live houses, concert halls, and numerous events.

Today, he is a versatile guitarist proficient in both electric and acoustic styles, performing across a wide range of genres including pop, rock, R\&B, gospel, fusion, and jazz. His work includes contributions to TV and radio commercials, promotional video soundtracks, as well as live and studio support for various artists.

He is also committed to music education, teaching at vocational schools and mentoring the next generation of musicians.

Artist Biography

She graduated from the Department of Performance at Osaka University of Arts.

Her performance experience includes a wide range of events such as tea concerts, salon concerts, and Christmas concerts, as well as bridal performances for civil ceremonies, chapel weddings, receptions, ensemble appearances, and bridal fairs.

She is also active in outreach performances at kindergartens, elementary schools, and welfare facilities.

In addition, she works as a ballet pianist and provides accompaniment for various types of performances and recitals.

Since her student days, she has been actively involved in band performances and has played at live houses such as Bourbon House.

With over 36 years of experience performing in the Kitashinchi area, she has played piano at numerous clubs and lounges including Club DANDY, Club Hanagoyomi, AMBUSH, Juki, and Sunny Side.

She has also performed extensively at hotels (including the Hilton), restaurants, and wedding venues, bringing music to a wide range of formal and celebratory occasions.

Artist Biography

She studied classical piano for about 10 years from elementary school, receiving foundational musical training through special lessons with associate professors from Kunitachi College of Music.

While attending Doshisha University, she joined the light music club and began singing at jazz bars during her student years.

Later, she trained under well-established musicians in the Kansai R&B and blues scene. In 2005, she made a short trip to the U.S., where she took lessons from artists including Beverly Crosby, former vocalist of the legendary band Stuff, and gained experience through blues jam sessions.

Since then, she has been actively performing at live houses, bars, and hotels throughout the Kansai area.

She is also active as a ceremony MC and vocal coach.

Artist Biography

She began studying Electone and piano at the age of three. As a child, she participated in numerous competitions, including the Yamaha Electone Competition, receiving several awards. She also obtained her Yamaha Electone Grade 3 certification at a young age.

She later entered the Department of Creative Performance at Soai University’s Faculty of Music, where she studied composition, arrangement, and performance.

Throughout her career, she has played piano in a wide range of bands spanning genres such as jazz, Latin, rock, fusion, and pop.

In August 2015, she performed at Umeda Club Quattro as a member of the salsa band Ponte Duro, serving as the opening act for Maykel Blanco y su Salsa Mayor, one of the most popular Cuban salsa groups.

Her performances extend across Kansai, including live houses, hotels, jazz bars, and corporate events for major companies.

In October 2015, she was a finalist in the Kobe Next Jazz live competition.

As a solo artist, she began performing under the name R1SA in 2009. She handles all aspects of her music production herself—from composing and arranging to track creation.

Blending classical, jazz, club music, progressive rock, and electronica, her innovative and powerful sound has earned recognition even from artists overseas.

In April 2017, she released her first album, Over Mind, and actively explored new genres, including collaborating with local musicians in New York through a series of sessions.

In 2018, she launched the “Risa Kobayashi Trio” project, which focuses on original compositions and progressive rearrangements of jazz standards. The trio has appeared at numerous jazz festivals and events, and is set to release its second album, Competitive, in December 2018.

Artist Biography

He began studying piano at the age of four and was immersed in classical music through his middle school years.

In high school, he started playing in bands, beginning with Beatles cover groups and gradually exploring a wide range of musical genres. During his university years, he began teaching himself jazz and eventually performed alongside musicians such as bassist Eiji Nakayama.

In 2005, he appeared at the Tokushima Jazz Street festival.

Since relocating to Kobe in 2006, he has performed in various settings across the Kansai region, including a featured appearance at the Fresh Concert hosted by the Kawanishi Musicians Association.

He continues to pursue a diverse musical path, performing across genres at live houses and events. His media appearances include NHK Kobe and the program Cafe Toa Station.

She graduated with a major in Vocal Performance from Kyoto Women’s University.

From her student days, she has been active in the live music scene, particularly in soul and disco genres, performing at various live houses and venues.

From 2005 to 2012, she worked at Live Spot RAG and RAG International Music, deepening her experience in the live entertainment field.

In 2010, she played the lead role of Rosalinde in the opera Die Fledermaus at the Kyoto Prefectural Center for Arts and Culture’s Grand Hall.

In 2011, she portrayed Papagena in Mozart’s The Magic Flute as part of the National Cultural Festival.

In 2013, she was honored to perform the national anthem solo at the CLASSIC Karate Championship Kyoto Tournament.

Eiko Nishimura

From classical to pop, I bring a touch of elegance, warmth, and at times bold expression through the sound of the violin—adding depth and beauty to any occasion.

Artist Biography

She graduated from the Kyoto City University of Arts with a degree in Violin Performance.

Influenced by her father, a former concertmaster of the Kyoto Symphony Orchestra, she began playing the violin in early childhood. At the age of six, she gave a well-received performance of a concerto at the National Summer Concert hosted by the Japan String Teachers Association. This marked the beginning of her musical journey, and she has continued to perform in numerous concerts since graduating from university.

Later in her career, she was drawn to musical styles beyond classical, including pop and Celtic music, and developed a unique playing style that blends these influences.

In addition to supporting various artists across genres in live performances and studio recordings, she has released five original CDs with her own musical unit. Her work in music production includes contributing songs for commercials such as Panasonic TV ads and promotional videos for SUZUKI Motor Corporation.

She studied under Junyoshi Nishimura, Ryutaro Iwabuchi, Atsushi Tsujii, Kazuyo Nakanishi, and her father, and studied Celtic violin (Irish fiddle) under Hidenori Omori.

Dedicated to music education, she teaches students of all ages—from young children to seniors—covering classical, pop, and world music, and is one of the few instructors in Japan specializing in Irish fiddle.

Most recently, she participated in the major label debut of ACOON HIBINO’s album The Frequency of Love, 528Hz (released by Teichiku Entertainment). On this project, she performed three solo pieces and two support tracks using a specially tuned instrument calibrated to 528Hz—the frequency believed to promote healing and harmony.

Nice to meet you! I’m Shigeaki Doi, a bassist based in Kyoto.

While I mainly perform in duos and groups, I’m also happy to accommodate solo performances upon request whenever possible.

I aim to share the unique joy and emotional impact that only live music can offer.

Artist Biography

At the age of 22, he released a CD with the Shiga-based band outergarden under an indie label. The band performed at large-scale events, including a 1,000-person outdoor music festival in Shiga and appearances on NHK television.

After outergarden disbanded, he joined a new group, Shimizu Resort.R, releasing a self-produced CD. The band performed at various music festivals such as Minami Wheel, and appeared on FM radio and TV programs.

In parallel with his band activities, he gained diverse experience through studio recordings, live support, and jam sessions.

Following the dissolution of the band, he shifted his focus to supporting artists through live performances and private lessons. He continues to stay active, performing with big bands and supporting a wide range of artists both on stage and in educational settings.
