Artist Biography

She graduated from the Kyoto City University of Arts with a degree in Violin Performance.

Influenced by her father, a former concertmaster of the Kyoto Symphony Orchestra, she began playing the violin in early childhood. At the age of six, she gave a well-received performance of a concerto at the National Summer Concert hosted by the Japan String Teachers Association. This marked the beginning of her musical journey, and she has continued to perform in numerous concerts since graduating from university.

Later in her career, she was drawn to musical styles beyond classical, including pop and Celtic music, and developed a unique playing style that blends these influences.

In addition to supporting various artists across genres in live performances and studio recordings, she has released five original CDs with her own musical unit. Her work in music production includes contributing songs for commercials such as Panasonic TV ads and promotional videos for SUZUKI Motor Corporation.

She studied under Junyoshi Nishimura, Ryutaro Iwabuchi, Atsushi Tsujii, Kazuyo Nakanishi, and her father, and studied Celtic violin (Irish fiddle) under Hidenori Omori.

Dedicated to music education, she teaches students of all ages—from young children to seniors—covering classical, pop, and world music, and is one of the few instructors in Japan specializing in Irish fiddle.

Most recently, she participated in the major label debut of ACOON HIBINO’s album The Frequency of Love, 528Hz (released by Teichiku Entertainment). On this project, she performed three solo pieces and two support tracks using a specially tuned instrument calibrated to 528Hz—the frequency believed to promote healing and harmony.
