Artist Biography

A natural singer-songwriter known for her heartfelt piano and vocal performances, Takarako has been immersed in music and piano since childhood. While studying vocal music at Wakayama University’s Faculty of Education, she discovered her passion for pop music. Inspired by her encounter with Carole King through band activities and original piano-vocal compositions, she decided to pursue a path as a singer-songwriter.

After graduating from university, she studied pop and jazz vocal techniques and began performing mainly in Wakayama and the Kansai region.
Her piano-accompanied performances evoke a gentle nostalgia, and her clear, soft voice touches the hearts of listeners. With her soothing vocals, she delivers not only original songs but also a wide range of repertoire including Western and Japanese pop, jazz, and children’s songs. She performs in concerts, live shows, and events throughout the region.

In her hometown of Wakayama, she is also dedicated to nurturing the next generation as a music instructor. In addition, she performs regularly every Friday and Saturday night as the resident vocalist and pianist at “Piano Bar Antique,” and hosts the radio program Takarako’s Music Life on FM Wakayama 87.7 MHz.
