Message

I perform extensively across Japan in a wide range of settings, unconstrained by genre or style, including solo recitals, chamber music, orchestral performances, artist support, live shows, corporate events, and private parties.

In recent years, I have also been actively involved in meaningful projects such as the Life Resonance Concert with the Kyoto Quartet, presented in collaboration with Inochi no Denwa, sharing the preciousness of life through music.

Artist Biography

Began studying the cello at the age of five.

Participated in public masterclasses with distinguished musicians including Tsuyoshi Tsutsumi, Tomotsugu Akitsu, Sumiko Kurata, Christoph Henkel, Nobuko Yamazaki, and the late Wolfgang Boettcher.

Awarded Bronze Prize in the university division of the Popper Cello Competition, held in commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the death of renowned cellist and composer David Popper.

Received the highest award in both the Kansai regional round and national finals of the Cello Division at the 8th All Japan Arts Competition.

Studied cello under Noriko Takahashi, Shinji Kitaguchi, Daisuke Kitaguchi, Takehiro Saito, Yutaka Hayashi, and Hiroshi Kondo.
Studied chamber music under Gerhard Geretschläger.

Graduated from the Faculty of Music at Soai University. Selected to perform at the Izumi Hall Graduation Concert upon graduation.

Recipient of the Hideo Saito Scholarship.

Former cellist of the Kyoto Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra.

Appeared as soloist in numerous performances, including the Kyoto Philharmonic’s 50th Anniversary 243rd and 244th Subscription Concerts.

Currently active in a wide variety of musical fields beyond classical music, including collaborations with rock bands, appearances in fashion shows, and artist support performances.
