Artist Biography
Born in Kyoto, Atsuko began studying koto and piano at the age of five, and shamisen at twelve.
After graduating from university, she obtained her teaching certification from the Kyoto Todo Association.
She studied under Ritsuko Koda and received the Encouragement Award from the Sawai Koto Institute, where she also holds a teaching position (Second Rank).
She is a member of the Kyokoritsukai, a full member of the Ibaraki City Music and Arts Association, an instructor at Kawakami Music School, and a member of the Ibaraki Sankyoku Association.
Currently based in the Kansai region, she performs actively at various events and venues.
