Artist Biography
I began studying piano at the age of three and entered the Kyoto Children’s Music School at eight. I graduated from Kyoto City Horikawa Senior High School of Music and later from the Piano Performance Course at Tokyo College of Music.
In 2005, I won the Gold Prize and the Kyoto Shimbun Award at the Kyoto Piano Competition, and was a finalist at the Japan Classical Music Competition National Finals. That same year, I appeared in the concert Young Musicians Soaring to the World – Prize Winners of the 23rd Competition, receiving the Kyoto Arts Festival Encouragement Award.
In 2006, I placed third at the All Japan Student Music Competition National Finals and performed in the prize winners’ concert. I was also awarded the Junior Cultural Award from the Mayor of Uji City. I have received numerous awards in competitions, and in 2007 participated in the Kyoto France Academy, along with various music seminars, while actively performing in concerts.
I have also appeared in concerts in the Czech Republic and Vienna. Currently, my activities focus on piano recitals, duet concerts, and salon concerts.
