Dance Performance in a Lush, Spectacular Circus-Like Setting
We participated in a bridal fair held in Miyazaki Prefecture, presenting a dance performance within a vibrant and glamorous, circus-inspired atmosphere.
The event was designed as a promotional showcase for couples considering marriage, introducing a range of venues, production styles, and related services.
In addition to BanMusic’s aerial dancers, the program featured a diverse lineup of performances, including jugglers, magicians, casino-style entertainment, and a flash mob.
Over the course of the three-hour event, we presented three aerial performances using suspended hoops and flowing aerial silks.

Aerial performances generally reach their physical limit at around five minutes; extending beyond that places a significant strain on the performer’s stamina. As this event provided a 15-minute time slot, we incorporated an interactive segment in addition to the performance itself, allowing members of the audience to experience the aerial apparatus firsthand.

Looking ahead, if longer performance durations are planned, I would like to explore further creative approaches to maintain audience engagement throughout. As for the venue, the solid concrete flooring was even and stable, and we received assistance with the truss assembly, which ensured very smooth progress overall. Ample rehearsal time was also secured, allowing the performance to proceed with confidence and without concern.
