Located in Tamba City, an area well known for its Tamba black soybeans, Kasuga Cultural Hall served as the venue for this event. BanMusic Artist Agency had the pleasure of producing the entire program for a kayōkyoku (Japanese popular songs) concert, overseeing the performance from start to finish.
Sound setup and preparation began the day before the event
As this was an original kayōkyoku concert held in a hall with a capacity of 600 seats, a carefully planned and robust sound system setup was essential. Although the performance itself took place during the daytime, the morning of the event was reserved for rehearsals. For this reason, all sound equipment was installed and prepared the day before the concert to ensure a smooth and efficient production.

The kayōkyoku concert was presented in three parts, featuring a backing band joined by two guest koto players. As this performance was recorded for a CD release, we adopted a setup that allowed live recording to take place simultaneously with the concert.
In addition, a dedicated camera crew was arranged to produce a live DVD of the event. This concert was the result of careful planning and repeated consultations carried out over more than a year. On the day of the performance, the Mayor of Tamba City was also in attendance and offered a greeting during the program.
We find great fulfillment in knowing that initiatives like this can contribute to local revitalization and community development.
