Saxophone Solo Performance Request
We were entrusted with approximately one hour of live entertainment as part of the wedding reception program, featuring a solo saxophone performance.
All aspects of the performance, including the musical content and the way the atmosphere was elevated, were entrusted entirely to us with the request, “Please perform as you see fit.”
We carefully selected a diverse repertoire, blending lively numbers, classic wedding favorites, and requested songs, with the intention of appealing to guests across a wide range of generations. The entire venue was wonderfully engaged—guests clapped along, danced, sang into the microphone, and even made spontaneous requests, to which we responded with improvised performances on the spot.
The warm and gentle personalities of the bride and groom were clearly reflected in the celebration, creating a truly intimate and heartfelt wedding. During moments of conversation, we also provided ballads as background music to help shape a relaxed and elegant atmosphere throughout the venue.
Prior to the reading of the letter to the bride’s mother, we received a special request to perform “Like the Flowing River” (Kawa no Nagare no Yō ni), entrusting us with setting the emotional tone for this important moment.
After the ceremony, a member of the couple’s family shared with us that the performance of “Like the Flowing River” deeply moved them and brought tears to their eyes. Hearing this meant a great deal to us, and we were truly honored to have been part of such a meaningful occasion.
