A Christmas Music Event at a Hirano Civic Center

平野区民センターにて重度障害者施設クリスマス会

We took part in a Christmas event at a local support facility, sharing live music with the audience.

This marked our second Christmas concert, and we are pleased to report that it was successfully completed once again.

Before and after each session, I make a conscious effort to connect warmly with the children, engaging with them in an open and friendly manner. Through simple gestures and conversation, I try to create a relaxed atmosphere where communication feels natural.

I also spend time communicating closely with the staff members, continuously gathering information about each child’s favorite songs and the music they are currently listening to at school.

At first, I wondered whether repeatedly playing the same songs might cause boredom. However, the opposite has proven true. When a favorite song begins, some children sway their bodies with smiles, while others are moved to tears. Over time, I  have seen how children’s interests and expressions through music naturally change and expand.

Being able to share these moments through music, I myself have learned so many valuable lessons. I would be truly happy if I could share these experiences with even more people. I hope everyone will join me in enjoying the joy of music together.
