Mirica, a well-known saxophonist from Wakayama, was invited to perform at a Christmas saxophone live music event held at AEON Mall Wakayama. AEON Mall Wakayama is a large-scale shopping complex, making it an ideal venue for seasonal events that attract a wide range of visitors.
A Christmas tree always brings a sense of excitement and joy
In December, large Christmas trees are displayed throughout shopping malls, and compared to those we have at home, their impressive size and elaborate decorations always bring a sense of excitement—no matter how old we are.
At AEON Mall Wakayama, a giant Christmas tree was installed in the open atrium event space, with a special stage set up beside it where the performance took place. The live music was presented in three separate sets throughout the day, allowing many visitors to enjoy the festive atmosphere.
Performance schedule:
- 1st stage: 13:00–13:40
- 2nd stage: 15:00–15:40
- 3rd stage: 17:00–17:40
Some of the audience members were already fans of Mirica, while others happened to be visiting the mall by chance and had the good fortune to experience live saxophone music—something they do not often have the opportunity to hear. Many paused to listen attentively, enjoying the richness of the live performance.
