A Stylish Performance at a Harborfront Restaurant
Located by the harbor near Ashiya Station in Hyogo Prefecture, Ashiya Marina is a beautiful marina where numerous boats are moored.
For this event, we were asked to provide dancers for a corporate party held exclusively at the restaurant “Mar Rosso”, situated within the marina.
The name Mar Rosso means “Red Sea” in Italian, and the “R” is pronounced with a soft “re” sound.
The cuisine, created by Executive Chef Tetsuya Matsubara, is said to be exceptional. The party was held in a standing buffet style.
The client requested a performance by five dancers, choreographed to music by Southern All Stars.
A Memorable Song that Amplified Emotion
Southern All Stars were chosen because they were the guest of honor’s favorite band. The performance was prepared as a complete surprise, proposed by the event host and kept secret until the day of the party.
The professional dancer group assembled specifically for this event began studio rehearsals one month prior, preparing intensively for the performance.
The stage costumes were provided by the client and carefully styled to resemble the band’s official music video outfits, with attention paid to even the smallest accessories.
Once the performance began, the entire venue was energized. The atmosphere felt as if the guests were attending an actual Southern All Stars live concert, and the excitement reached an incredible peak.
We are truly pleased to have met everyone through this performance.
One highlight was a surprise dance performance, where we danced up close with the audience and shared the excitement together.
We hope we were able to bring some healing and joy to those who always work so hard to support others.

At first, I thought the dancing space was a bit small, but once we started dancing, that closeness allowed us to dance together with the guests.
